The space was exactly right for our family. Our son loved playing on the beach front porch. Nice short walk to the beach. House staff very friendly.

Great house! Maria was super and food she made was amazing. The house living area was perfect for a family. The pool is on the road side of the house which is perfect for avoiding the wind.

Nicely Appointed Villa

Casa del Mar is a very nicely appointed villa. I love the Mexican carved wood furniture, the pottery and the original Gail Walker paintings. The master suite with the ocean front terrace is a serene hide away. All of the bedrooms are big and the beds very comfortable. This house has the best satellite television options (lots of movie channels in English!) of any property I have vacationed in. My only complaint is that the design of the house does not maximize its ocean views. Only one bedroom has an ocean view and the living/dining view is interrupted by a dividing wall. I have to mention Mari the housekeeper - she was absolutely wonderful. I almost never saw her, but the house was always kept clean - it was like magic!
