Overall we loved this house and would gladly stay again. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was the leaking which was unexpected and pretty substantial. Once we learned where the water came in, we just moved our stuff and put lots of towels down.

The staff was very friendly & helpful, the maid is a wonderful cook (arrange for the dinner!), the grounds were beautiful, the hammocks divine, the pool fabulous. It is well-located to town and restaurants. The beach is coral, not sand, but we just went to Akumal Bay for that.

Now this is paradise! There are no crowds to deal with, you have the pool to yourself with the most perfect view of the ocean, the rooms are huge and the kitchen has everything in the way of cooking utensils and plastic storage tubs to boot! The house is so comfortable...well, not so much the beds, but everything else is great. Did I mention how quiet it is...love it! I will be booking this place again...

Nicte Ha is the perfect location in Akumal -so close to Akumal Bay (beach within walking distance)) and good restaurants. The staff is fantastic. The grounds are lovely, the trees and vegetation are very well kept. The view of the ocean is great as well. Its very rocky but you can still walk to the waters edge. The house is well kept and the kitchen is well appointed. The only negative thiing I have to say is that the beds are very uncomfortable. My husband, my brother and my father all had a hard time sleeping. The mattresses which are very thin are place on raised cement. Other than that its a beautiful home and we had a great vacation! PS--the rooftop and pool are awesome!!!!!
