Comments about LocoGringo Casa Nah Alux:

It's a wonderful house. The beach is pretty-but there is lots of seaweeed washed up & growing on the shore. The rooms are perfect-the only drawback we found was that the fridge current regulator (or something similar) was very noisy-anyone using the futon in the kitchen may need to turn the fridge off at night.

Comments about LocoGringo Casa Nah Alux:

We had the most amazing week staying at Nah Alux. The house itself is beautifully constructed and well-equipped, and its just amazing walking out of the house and being on the beach.
Although there are many wonderful things to do and see near Soliman Bay, for most of the week we just ended up hanging out at the house, using the hammocks, sun loungers and canoes.
No complaints at all about the house. Probably the only thing which could have been better is that the beach, although very clean and sandy, is not the best swimming beach due to all of the seaweed. However we got round this by using the canoes to go further into the bay and swim there, so ultimately it wasn't too great a problem
Overall would highly recommend Nah Alux and we definitely want to return.

Nothing but the best to report. The owners obviously love their colorful casitas joined by tile-inlayed, yellow walkways. From the kitchen porch, out past the palapa with hammocks, to the beach...maybe 100 feet. Beautiful snorkeling in the bay with tie-off buoys for kayaks.

The perfect family place. We had four adults and two kids. Just right, for six adults too. Anyway. Most tastefully laid out and appointed.

Only drawback (and it wasn't for us) is the neighbors are nearby, and parties
could be public.

Simply perfect. Best. Vacation. Ever.

Comments about LocoGringo Casa Nah Alux:

Every morning, you wake up to Tony (the caretaker) raking your beachfront sand. You make coffee and breakfast and dine on a pristine beach watching the sunrise. Now imagine getting to do that for seven days in a row. Aside from having a beautiful beachfront location and view, the rooms were perfectly appointed and very well kept. Rosa (the property manager) comes over to check on you and give you little hints about things to do and places to go that you won't find on any website. You're minutes from groceries and shopping in Tulum and a few more minutes from beachfront shops in Playa del Carmen the other direction. There are peaceful evenings when the breeze or light rain rolls in, and you get to enjoy this in a palapa-covered hammock. The best part of the whole experience is that the property is laid out to accommodate either a family or a group of friends. Six of us stayed at Casa Nah Alux, and we all agreed it was the best vacation of our lives. We cannot wait to do it all again!

Comments about LocoGringo Casa Nah Alux:

We loved Casa Nah Alux, it was perfect for our two boys ages 9 and 6 and my husband and I. Amazing snorkeling just feet away from the house. Excellent beach to play on, take walks, watch the sun rise and the spectacular full moon come up over the water too. The birds would sing us awake every morning and the hermit crabs would entertain us at night. The pool was lovely to splash in, our 6 year old couldn't get enough of it and we would sit in the shade in the beer and enjoy watching him play. Close to supermarkets and other beaches in Tulum if you want more waves to play in. We got to the Tulum ruins, Coban and Chichen Itza. Ceynotes close by are also worth a trip as is Xel Ha.
