Eight family members, five adults and three children, ages 13 to 5, stayed at Villa Palmeras for seven days the fourth week of February. It was windy during our stay and not a great beach for swimming although we had some exciting kayak trips through the constant surf. The small pool was great for the kids. The house was very comfortable with a perfect layout of the four bedrooms and baths affording good privacy. The kitchen was laid out with adequate cooking equipment and outdoor grill which we used often.
The dining area comfortably accommodated 8-10 for meals. The hammocks and other outdoor furniture was extremely comfortable The staff was very helpful. Nearby cinotes, the lagoon and the beaches south of Tulum, a short car ride, offered great swimming. House offered a good place to hang out, enjoy one another, read.

A very nice 4 bedroom, with AC in the bedrooms. Pool, BBQ grill, roof top sitting area. Patti, the maid and or cook, Nettie, the groundsman,(very sharp and helpful), and a night security guard that played cards with our college age sons. The beach was a little rough and water shoes are a must. Lots of coral and sea urchins, but also lots of tropical fish, and we saw turtles right off the beach. Just a short walk up to Akumal.
