We are two parents with three adult children. There was plenty of room to gather together for fun activities, meals, etc. and plenty of room to be alone when necessary. Casa Alux has a wonderful exotic feel to it, a perfect infinity pool disapears into the ocean, great tables indoors and out for family meals, card games, etc. Staff is wonderful. Get to know them. Beautiful grass lawns for yoga and exercize. Lots of privacy. It sits on two full lots so neighbors are far away. Feels like your own magic kingdom.

Relaxing location with beaches, snorkeling (turtles, rays and many kinds of fish), small food shops, and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Within a half hour of heavy duty shopping, ruins, and many nature/amusement parks. Large library to complement practicing your hammock technique. Excellent kitchen facilities.

We had a great week with our adult sons. Everything was just perfect. The ocean at your doorstep; the view and privacy is magnificent. The private oceanbeach was too rough for us but the pool is great, and beautiful sandy beaches are close by (walking distance). Seaturtles and stingrays, laguna, several good restaurants, shops and small supermarkets in walking distance. Very relaxed, low-key and calm area. Very kind and very helpful owner and staff.
