Stay was relaxed and beautiful. Location is secluded and private compared to all-inclusives. Only thing that could have been better was seaweed control. Private beach was nicely groomed daily but seaweed growth in the water detracts from the beach beauty

Outstanding!! We stayed at this Villa with 10 family members --- all adults. There was plenty of room to have our own "space"; beautiful beach; private location; pool was clean & a good size; Elena & Pancho were wonderful caretakers. We got married while in Mexico & had the wedding at Casa Mar Caribe --- it was perfect!!! I would recommend this place to anyone .. from families with kids or an adult getaway. Beats an all-inclusive anytime!!

My family of 5, as well as my brothers family of 5, our parents and another family joined us for a week vacation here. The duplex set up was fantastic. The younger children could be on one side, while the older folks could have the other. The pool was marvelous and the kids lived in it for a week. Pancho cleaned it daily and also raked the beach, as well as put the lights on at night and made sure we lacked nothing. At first, we thought the sea was mucky, then realized it was plants growing in the water and a walk out into the sea revealed an amazing reef. You can walk out three quarters of the way to the large reef and the snorkeling was amazing. We saw more in this reef than our scuba trip in Akumal. We were all entrqnced by the place. Elena not only kept the house sparkling clean, she made the most amazing meals - satisfying 15 tastes. Fajitas, tortilla soup, enchiladas, tacos. All of it, spectacular. When my son got sunburned, badly, she came in with honey and put it on his back, taking away the sting. Elena and Pancho felt like family after our week. We are preparing for our next trip to the house. I can't wait to be on my hammock staring at the sea.

We've been here 3 times and can't wait to go back. The first time we went with 5 other couples and had a terrific time. The two sides of the villa were a perfect choice for our group. We were all able to have our own space. The next two times we went with a smaller group and had an equally fun time. The pool is glorious! The house is amazing! On our second trip AC had been added to the entire house which was a very nice addition. The pictures on this site need to be updated as more changes have happened since these pics were taken. Even though there are other villas nearby, we rarely saw other people on the beach. We used the supplied kayaks often and the snorkeling was INCREDIBLE! Reefs close in for easy access!
The caretakers, Elena and Pancho, were delightful, professional and all of our needs were met quickly! Oh, be sure to ask Elena to prepare a meal or meals for you, she is an amazing cook and she is very affordable! Pancho turned all the outdoor lights on at night and kept the pool sparkling. Also, he opened a fresh coconut to our delight and served up the best drinks! They seemed to know exactly when we needed them and were very conscious of our privacy too! Thank you to them for making an already incredible experience even better!

This is a great house. The pool is one of the largest on the bay. I got married at this house and it was fantastic. Having two kitchens was wonderful and the the patio area very large. Pancho and Helena were great. Helena makes great ceviche! We will definitely be back.
