For background, this our seventh trip to Akumal. The house is beautiful and the huge windows make for an impressive view upon entering. The layout is nice, but the fifth bedroom downstairs does not have a full bath, which makes it a difficult room to use. The view of the ocean is fantastic, but it is a bit far from the main part of Akumal and even with a few golf carts, it still took 15 minutes to get to the main beach, Lol Ha or the Chomak. There was no DVD player, but fortunately Garry from Locogringo helped us out. But for Garry and Kay at Locogringo, our trip would have been much less enjoyable.

Let's start off by saying that [...] and [...] were some of the most helpful and lovely people people we met on this trip. The home was in beautiful condition in terms of cleanliness and up keep. Every morning the dishes were done, sheets changed and the entire house was cleaned. They were also very helpful with suggestions and directions.The location of the villa is perfect, it was off the main road and was extremely quiet. Waking up to the sunrise over the lagoon is a view that is tough to beat. Wearing water shoes, the walk to the lagoon is easy and entertaining while watching the iguanas on the rocks. In the lagoon we saw turtles, rays and numerous fish. The home was stocked with purified water, an immense welcome fruit basket with numerous other goodies. The pool was in great shape and the grounds were perfectly manicured. [...] and [...] made for a perfect week in a perfect villa. The villa and the people are the reason vacations in Mexico are perfect!

This is a great house and the location is spectacular. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was a highlight for everyone. The staff was very attentive and efficient.
