I loved everything about it. The hosts Yvonne and Maurizio were so genuine and accommodating. The meals were tasty and everything was so fresh especially the fish. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It is worth paying for the all inclusive The best swimming beach I have ever stayed at. I will be back soon!!

Being in the lodging business and having a very high standard for our accomodations, we can certainly recommend this property. This is our 4th visit to Sol Caribe and we once again enjoyed it. I am sure we will be back. New management was very nice and food was good. As always the grounds are well manicured and rooms clean and neat. The only issue(which is normal for this area given that you are so close to the water and there is not air conditioning) is that we felt like everything was always damp (ie..sheets) but the ceiling fans seem to help.

The entire resort has been rebuilt, including a new reception area. While Sol Caribe's website has new photos, nicer in person. The biggest improvement would be the bedding is now very comfortable. There are three new rooms which now make a total of seven (eight if the one cabana is split). With the slightly larger size, they have added more staff to pamper you. The only drawback is that you can no longer use hairdryer, small issue. We missed Mike, but Mauricio & Yvonne were friendly & attentive to all needs. The resort is simply on a beautiful beach and couldn't be more relaxing.

This is a find! Expect an intimate experience at a small property, selecting what you wish to eat and drink(drinks and food option), including lobster, grouper and shrimp. The owner, Michael Soverign, is a hoot; Liberto the cook a gifteed and meticulous chef; Fernando an equally meticulous maintainer of the environment; Celeste a quiet and careful maid. Both remote and safe!
