This charming Spanish colonial hotel is flamboyantly painted and decorated, and is just 2 blocks from the beach. Enjoy pool & spacious rooms with private bath, comfy beds, ceiling fan, AC, cable TV & phone. Some rooms have a balcony.

The hotel is located a few yards off of Quinta Avenida, the main walking destination in Playa del Carmen. There are other hotel options on the Avenida, but a little bit of insulation between the nightlife and the hotel is a good idea. Playa is perfect for enjoying the beach, enjoying all the amenities of a luxurious vacation while still retaining a fair amount of Mexican culture. Hacienda del Caribe is perfectly situated and priced to enjoy a great vacation on a modest budget.
