These garden view rooms are only steps from Akumal main beach. All have AC and a small fridge and guests can use the hotel pool. Lol Ha beach bar and Akumal Dive Center are next door. All inclusive packages are available during the summer.

We stayed in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Akumal during our trip. Akumal and the Villa Maya Bungalows were by far our favorite. I can't wait to go back.

Stayed in Villas Maya Bungalows 20 years ago and decided to go back. Am only home a couple of weeks and very happy at the decision to try them again. Of course, everything has been up-graded but the laid-back feel of the place remains the same. The rooms are large enough for a longer stay and located right on the best part of the bay. They now include an American breakfast at Lol Ha restaurant, which is located just a few steps away and right on the water. So you can sit on the deck and watch the bay while enjoying a delicious breakfast -- food was first rate and presented beautifully. The service was excellent with the most friendly staff both at bungalow and restaurant. The bugalows are kept spotless and we felt safe during our entire visit to the area. This is an exceptional value for the price -- nothing fancy about bungalow, but clean and functional. Lol Ha is more up-scale. We treated outselves to our last night's dinner there -- excellent! The pool is a little walk, but really nothing and is also right on the beach.
