S & S Hip Hotel has a super location on a wide semi-deserted stretch of Tulum beach. Each room has a king bed, Garden, Ocean View or Ocean Front, lower and upper levels. Great restaurant on site, Massage and tours are offered. Special events and weddings can be arranged. All rooms are high quality.

From the time I checked in I was taken care of with. The Reception Area and Staff was great and was always helpful. They help me with arranging my Fishing Trips, Cabs and on site needs.

I have spent many vacations in Mexico and this was my first time to Tulum and the Hip Hotel. A great experience and I will return in the future.

Comments about LocoGringo S and S Hip Hotel:

My husband and I stayed two nights, but found room 6 to have road noise and to be a bit dusty from road. Screen doors didn't close and some noisy young children were next to us at the over 18 S&S. Did not get the feeling that S&S was up and running yet. Needs definition. Is it adult or is it family? And so we moved to Ana & Jose's, owned by same, which is established, wonderful property north about a mile. MUCH better rooms and service and food and gardens, and equally great beach. Pricier as well. Manager at A&J's, Rene' was very welcoming and efficient in the upgrade, allowing us to pay the difference from our prepaid S&S. I will return to Ana & Jose's.
