Stayed in #14 for 6 nights. Kitchen was very well equipped. The A/C worked great. Spotlessly clean. The condo has THREE balconies - one large one that looks out on Half Moon Bay and two smaller ones that look out back but still have an ocean view! Very large shower. The garden pool is refreshing and this place has more chairs and palapas than anywhere we've stayed in Akumal. Beach is built up with a retaining wall which was fine with us. I put this place on par with Playa Caribe & Las Casitas. Only drawback is that it is at the end of the road so you will need a car, golf cart, or for athletic types a bike would work too.

Loved the location and property. Our grand daughter learned how to snorkel in pool. The beach had nice shady cabanas with a nice breeze for reading books. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to cook your own food. Two porches off of the bedrooms, and a porch overlooking ocean. Cons-Although we notified when we would be in our condo was an oven. No windows or air-conditioning on. I got heat stroke the first night. Could not open windows to ventilate bedroom, air conditioning never worked the whole 5 nights we were there despite repeated efforts of maintenance to fix it. Poor water pressure unless you want scalding hot. No TV, unless you bring your own batteries, front desk manager kept taking batteries out of other remotes which would then go dead, toliet kept plugging up, even though we didn't put toliet paper in it. no wifi last 24hours. Would go back, even to this unit, IF and this is a big IF they fixed the problems. No way without air conditioning.

If you're looking for a great place to stay that is super relaxing, then this is it. Lovely pool, right on the beach, wonderful snorkeling and swimming, it's all here. The condos are 2 beds/2 baths, and if you are travelling with a larger group or a family the La Sirena Villas are very nice with 3 beds/2 baths. You can walk to Yalku Lagoon or it's a nice walk into town. We are die-hard Akumal tourists and this place is one of our favorites! I f you're wanting to venture out you can take a taxi or rent a car. Renting a pedal bike is a nice way to get around in Akumal. Don't forget to go across the highway into Akumal Pueblo.

LaSirena condos are large, with fantastic views of the beach and jungle. Perfect for adults, seniors and people without children. If you have kids go to an all-inclusive. If you want beauty and serenity, with easy access to great snorkling then LaSirena is for you. The sq. ft. of condos is impressive, with very well appointed kitchens. Although we ate out often its nice to have that big fridge full of beer and snacks. Housekeeping was top notch also. Watch out for the big iguana who guards the beach steps. I would go to LaSirena again tomorrow. We much prefer condos to all-inclusives with their noise and crowds.
