Very clean, pleasant and quiet. The beach is not crowded and it is not far to several nice restaurants. There is a well equipped little grocery / drinks store on the premises. I would go back.

Nice having small stores and restaurants near. Easy walk to town.
Need DVD player or TV that you can hook computer up to.
Pool set up is odd but it worked.
Great time, great condo, and we will be coming back.

I have stayed at Vista del Mar multiple times and it never disappoints. The beach is beautiful, uncrowded and snorkeling is fantastic. It's a short walk to town for groceries or on-site rental bikes are quite reasonable.

Stayed in Studio/Suite 8 August 2010. It was not fancy or a luxury resort but it was clean and had everything we needed: king bed, giant balcony (with hammock and chairs), great views of Half Moon Bay, kitchenette, good location, friendly staff. Just walk downstairs and your feet are in the sand. The area was quiet and great for our relaxing, romantic getaway. Walk, bike or car ride to everything in Akumal.

Right on the beach! Not luxurious but clean and comfortable. A fantastic value. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans.

Located on a quiet bay with direct access to snorkeling with turtles and the coral reef.
