This is a great place to stay for many reasons: it's right on the beach; there is an excellent restaurant on the premises; it has a pool; the manager speaks english, is very helpful and accomodating; it's centrally located in Akumal; just to name a few.

Roberto the manager was very friendly and helpful. The condo was very nice, clean ect. but lacked A/C in the living area, bedroom only - be aware of this as it was in the mid 90's in April

Would not return to this facility, this condo has not been kept up and the picture show....old uncomfortable furniture - bad lighting. Staff friendly;

My parents stay at Hacienda de las Tortugas every time they visit Akumal. You can't beat the price! Sr. Roberto is a wonderful host always making sure his guests needs are met and their questions answered. La Lunita, the restaurant downstairs, is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so you would never need to leave the property - try the lamb burger! The snorkeling in the bay out front is phenomenal! My only complaint, and it is very small, is that the kitchen in our condo needed new utensils. But hey, as long as you have a good knife to cut the lime for the beer what else do you need?
