Highly recommended. Spectacular views of Half Moon Bay from the huge balcony. Louvered bedroom doors mean that you can lie in bed and watch the sunrise! Top notch snorkeling from right in front of the place, with the water literally 30 feet from the building. This is one of the reasons why we picked this condo, and we were very impressed. Sandy but narrow beach, palapas, and sunbeds. Not great for swimming because it's shallow a long way out and rocky once in the water (Akumal Bay nearby is excellent for swimming, though). The vacant treed property on north side of the building gives a spacious feel, unlike the condos in the middle of the bay which are somewhat clustered. Very quiet location with little traffic on the access road, but close enough to Akumal.
Spacious condo with high ceilings. Appliances are a little dated (I've never seen a one speed blender before!) but worked fine.
Pool next door is small but clean and great for a dip after being in the ocean. La Lunita restaurant next door is superb!

Great view, friendly staff, beautiful beach just steps away. In our unit, #5, it could get a bit humid in the main living area when we were there in July. AC in the bedrooms helped a lot!

La Mirage is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be right on the beach and have plenty of peace and quiet! Management is very helpful with any problems or questions. As two females traveling together we have always felt safe there. The area in front of the condo building is a beautiful, white sand beach with just a little trouble getting in the water. There are rocks and coral but a cleaned out spot that makes it easy to enter the sea. The location is in the middle of Half Moon Bay which makes it close to everything if you have a car. Walking to a lot of the area's attraction are easy to do, if you're okay walking in the tropical heat.

It was really great! The only "Cons" was, that there are too less good sunbeds. For us it was enough, but in the high season, it could be a problem. A good solution would maybe: own good sundbeds for every condo.
Good sunbed=laying on with backside and stomach
not so good sundbeds=only possible to lay on with backside
