We were greeted upon arrival by the owner and immediately felt her warmth and care for her guests. We were shown around the whole property and felt as though we were moving into our own home! The rooms are all a good size and comfortable. And, there is everything you could need in the house. One day when it was raining we jokingly said that we may need to play cards or games and challenged ourselves to find some cards...sure enough there was even a deck of cards and chips for poker! That was how we felt with everything in Casa Tranquilidad, the thought behind making the guest feel comfortable and at home.

The splash pool makes up for the property not being on the beach and is a refreshing touch to the property. It is small and shallow so it's great to cool off but not for swimming. Also the grounds are private and lovely with tropical plants to make it feel like a special haven.

The owner is very concerned for your comfort and helped with any questions we had. Her house keeper and "man that does everything" were fantastic and we wanted to take them home with us!

We liked Casa Tranquilidad so much that we booked our next trip while we were still there so that we would be sure to be able to stay there!

A very nice property in a very nice setting a little off the beaten track but that's what we like. The only draw back is the driving distance so you really need a car. But I would stay there again.

A comfortable and attractive house, with a private courtyard full of flowers, birds and resident iquanas. The owner is outgoing and helpful. A great spot for a couple or small family.
