THE place to see spider monkeys and interact with them. These monkeys were orphaned or mis-treated then "rescued" by the owners. The bungalows have AC and are comfortably furnished. Actually located in Chemuyil near Akumal. Sleeps 2-4

Thank you Heidi and Joel. We loved the monkeys but really enoyed our evening chats the best. Thanks for making us feel welcome and comfortable. Adrienn finally got to interact with a real monkey instead of me. We miss you guys and hope to be back someday. A great experience.

People that rent a bungalow should be aware that it will not automatically register you for a visit with the monkeys. Alyhough we were a bit disappointed, we were so warmly welcomed by the owners that the overall experience, the setting, our roomate David the cat, and everything else made this the ultimate "off the beaten path" experience.

Amazing surroundings, right in the jungle, with beautiful plants everywhere! Really charming bungalow with everything you need, and beautiful tiles, hammock, porch... you name it!

Service & Delivery comments:

Heidi and Joel are the greatest hosts! We felt very comfortable with them, and very well taken care of. And interacting with the monkeys was the best experience of my life. I can't wait to go back!
