Comments about LocoGringo CESiak:

We absolutly loved the place!! It was a quiet, spectacularly beautiful and romantic get away. The staff was gracious and very friendly and the food was very good. The only negative was the saltwater showers. We understand the why but that limitation would probably have us limit the length of future stays. We hope to come back someday and will certainly recommend it to friends.

Comments about LocoGringo CESiak:

Ordinarily, and with decent weather IE: sunshine and warmth; the tent accomodations would have been fine. The weather was cold, wet and windy. The solar seawater showers were not adequate, and the main restroom smelled of sewage. Huddling in the tent was not an option, as there were few blankets and no extras from management. We arrived in a blowing rainstorm and were not even offered a lantern to light tent. Candles are not enough for late night arrivals! The kitchen seemed reluctant to feed us at times, or just not interested. We had to beg for drinkable coffee in the am. Food prep OK but not awesome. The weather was so bad, we were not able to take the advertised boat trip.We checked out after about 4 days and spent the next 8 or so at the Courtyard by Mariott. Dull but predictable. Heat, hot water, clean toilets etc.Management was changing when we were there, so we didn't have a chance to see how the very pleasant man who took over fared. He had his work cut out for him!!!I love Mexico, and Mexicans, and am a very unfussy traveler, but cold, wet, and staff indifference here was a turn off.Wish I could be more upbeat. In fairness, I would love to go back and experience some sun and beach. Camping to the sound of surf is great!Francey [...](December 26th, 2009 arrival
