Very nice property. Nice pools. Wonderful white sand beach pristine swim area and no rocks. Food is quite good for all inclusive with large variety of options. Loved the guys making paella and serving al pastor tacos poolside!
Rooms are a bit dated and the resort is pricey, but if you want a nice and relaxing place, it's a good choice. We had a swim out room which we enjoyed, especially since the small swim out pools are private and are heated so you can go in anytime, even if it's night or raining.

The grounds were beautiful and so was our room! Our concierge was so helpful in finding anything we wanted. We enjoyed our excursion of snorkeling! We loved the closeness to the beach and how kind and nice the staff was. We would come back for another vacation in a heartbeat!
Comments about LocoGringo Secrets Maroma Beach:
"Welcome home" something you hear often at Secrets Maroma. Service was excellent, the facility was comfortable and not overwhelming. The spa was just delightful, beyond words. There was a wide variety of foods, and nice restaurants. I did eat at the Japanese restaurant and was not overly impressed with the food, the hibachi show looked like fun. We had a long wait for sushi considering that there were not many people in the restaurant. I did feel bad for the honeymoon couple next to us, who had been waiting for their sushi order and you could sense they were tense and impatient. If the waiter and brought them a glass of champagne he probably could have saved their evening.
Lobby bar service was good right at the bar, but in the lounge area a little slow but still good.
Concierge service was excellent.
For me personally, it is a resort that has tranquility, I loved the spa for its silence. It is a great place.
Comments about LocoGringo Secrets Maroma Beach:
Secrets Maroma had everything we wanted, a sandy beach, gourmet food and stellar service! This resort is settled on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. When we arrived, the check in could not have gone more smoothly. We were welcomed with champagne, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and cool moist aromatic towels to freshen up our hands and face after the hot journey from the airport. There were plenty of lounge chairs and we never had to get up at the crack of dawn to claim our spot by the pool as we had been forced to do at other resorts. One of the main reasons we chose this resort was for the gourmet food and the fact that we did not need reservations nor were we limited to the number of nights we could enjoy the a la carte restaurants. Secrets Maroma had delivered class, quality, comfort, and a professional and accommodating staff (even when we ordered room service at 2AM) all in one of the world's most beautiful settings.
